On Monday late night, unidentified miscreants threw a petrol bomb at the clinic of renowned doctor and BJP leader Dr. Tarsem Garg in the Vishal Nagar area of Bathinda. During this dangerous attack, an attempt was made to set the clinic on fire, which has triggered widespread panic and fear throughout the entire area.
Dr. Tarsem Garg is a well-known doctor in Bathinda city, who had left the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during the municipal corporation elections to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The sensitivity of this incident is heightened even further because Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s arrival in Bathinda is strictly scheduled.
